Tis been quite an unfortunate turn of events starting this month. Ruiha will be stepping down as leader of Alstroemeria and Alstroemeria Rewards will be discontinued, effective April 1, 2016. But fear not! Drakkion will be assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer and we have a bright future ahead that will be forged in bonds with your fellow brothers and sisters in our community!
Here are some things discussed at the Guild Meeting on March 26, 2016:

Guild meeting transcript for February 27, 2016 is as follows:
Welcome to this month’s guild meeting and thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to discuss the future of our guild.
The rules for the guild meeting are as follows:
Please stay seated to give respect to the speaker.
If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback; please stand and wait for the speaker to take his/her seat.
Please keep side conversations in guild chat, PM, or Discord to prevent interference with note taking.
This month’s topics are: Easter Special Event, bullying within the guild, closure of Alstroemeria Rewards, and a staff member promotion.
Before we begin, I’d like to wish a very belated happy birthday to Bella195!
First topic is the Easter Special Event.
Zagex proposed this event a few hours ago and we’ll be having a Hide and Seek Event tomorrow in place of the Commerce Run. Rules will be announced on the forums and prizes will be part of the Alstroemeria prize pool which includes Asuna ALO outfits, Hermit Staff, Shyllien Mana Knuckles and more! This event will be held tomorrow at 1pm Server Time.
Does anyone have any questions regarding this event?
Zagex: Add to prize pool
Tara: Limited to one continent
John: Monday, conflicts with time with family
Drak: Two runs
John: Next week
Second topic is bullying within the guild.
Our community prides itself on the reputation for being kind and accepting towards both members and non-members. With that said, we would like all members to exercise discretion when communicating with others both in how you speak and in your actions. Please don’t leave behind your comrades and please don’t treat your fellow members as ‘noobs’. The world’s greatest artists and leaders were once beginners too.
There were a few incidents of someone making crude jokes about another member’s appearance. Even though it’s funny, even though it’s behind their back or not, it’s rude. We are all adults here or aspiring adults, and by stopping this type of behavior is a small but crucial step in keeping a community together. We are a global community so we have to respect the cultures we come from whether that be across your country or across the world, we all grew up differently. But rude is a culture understood by all and we don’t tolerate that because there is no place for rude in Alstroemeria. If you are being affected by this, please talk to one of our Ambassadors. Our guild staff is here for you.
Are there any thoughts regarding this topic?
Next up is the closure of Alstroemeria Rewards.
As many of you may or may not be aware, I am an active duty US Navy Corpsman and I am going to be deployed in a few weeks to Field Medical Training to qualify as a Combat Medic and subsequently: Okinawa, Japan to be part of the 3rd Marine Logistics Group. On top of my education as a laboratory technician which is a two-year degree program condensed into just six months with the finals in April, I am subject to screening processes and briefs of the US Military leading me often not returning to my room with barely enough time to study until it’s time for me to sleep again.
Also due to this, I will have to suspend the Alstroemeria Rewards program starting April 1st. What about your current orders? I haven’t forgotten about them, there is still $50.00 worth of orders I need to fulfill and they will be fulfilled on April 1st or 15th. The reason behind this closure is because I am being audited for my debt-to-income ratio as part of the screening process and Alstroemeria Rewards has cost me over about $200.00 worth of transactions last month alone and I have to maintain an extremely tight budget to correct it. And after I will be sent to Combat Medic training for two months, I won’t be able to provide any of the Rewards options unless I’m stationary somewhere internet exists which may not be likely.
We are looking to arrange a curated selection of in-game items to be available for purchase as needed for convenience.
I will be modifying our online assets to reflect this change in the coming days.
Are there any questions regarding the closure of Alstroemeria Rewards?
Last topic is staff member promotion.
Our community continues to be a better place with more new faces appearing each day. And to with this, we must maintain a staff who is equally as qualified to maintain our community and promote a great environment.
I will be stepping down to a supportive role as Executive Officer 1st Class until my own departure from Alstroemeria. However, Alstroemeria still has a wonderfully bright future ahead and I will be entrusting the future of Alstroemeria into very capable hands.
(please stand front and center)
Drakkion has been a member of Alstroemeria since February 18, 2015. He has rose up to the occasion when Alstroemeria needed a leader in late 2014. Drakkion’s leadership with the guild is extraordinary and the community has exponentially grown to what it is today.
With all the rights and privileges appertaining thereto in consideration of the morale, welfare and well-being of the Alstroemeria guild. In testimony whereof, we bestow upon you the position of Chief Executive Officer hereunto offered this Twenty-Sixth day of March, 2016.
As Chief Executive Officer, Drakkion will oversee all guild operations and be primarily responsible for the recruitment and discharge of unruly members.
Please join me in congratulating Drakkion as our new Chief Executive Officer.
Before we are dismissed, are there any suggestions regarding the guild and its features?
To recap,
We will be holding an Easter Event tomorrow instead of Commerce.
Bullying is not tolerated in Alstroemeria and we are enforcing it.
Alstroemeria Rewards will close on April 1st. If you have orders still being processed they will be delivered April 1st or 15th.
Drakkion is now Guild Leader.
This concludes this month’s guild meeting. Please meet in the garden upstairs for a guild photo. Thank you again for attending and we hope to build a great future together!
