Hope everyone enjoyed their extra day of the year! We're seeing a lot of new faces around as our recruiting is ramping up! Our events seemed to be pretty shaky this month but we're still working on ironing out those kinks with a few polls and discussions to know what you want to change! We've got a lot of great input on the topics at the guild meeting but we hope to see you in our future events as you help shape them to be what they are today! We hope to see you at the next Wīnd and stay awesome, [#username]!
Here are some things discussed at the Guild Meeting on February 27, 2016:

Guild meeting transcript for February 27, 2016 is as follows:
Welcome to this month’s guild meeting and thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to discuss the future of our guild.
The rules for the guild meeting are as follows:
Please stay seated to give respect to the speaker.
If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback; please stand and wait for the speaker to take his/her seat.
Please keep side conversations in guild chat, PM, or Discord to prevent interference with note taking.
This month’s topics are: the changing of Wind Sunday time, change of main Wind event channel, and the inauguration of the newest member to our staff.
First topic is the changing of Wind Sunday time.
We’ve noticed a sharp decrease in attendance of Wind events held on Sunday. I’ve often heard feedback that it is due to the inconvenience of the time slot, especially since it bleeds into Monday for certain time zones.
The current plan of action is to move the time slot of Wind Sunday events to another time slot. Suggestions are to place the time slot at 2 hours (1pm) or 4 hours (11pm) prior to its current time (3pm) and it will be voted upon in the forums. This change will not take effect until the first Wind of March. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding this change?
Drak, Linwelin: 2 hours
Vali, Derek: 7 hours (inconvenience to American players)
Second topic is the change of the main Wind event channel.
This is a bit of a quick topic. Our presence is reportedly quickly increasing in Ch.6, therefore we would like to extend that presence by conducting our guild events on Ch. 6. This change will be effective beginning with the March Wind events. Are there any thoughts regarding this change?
Risa, Vali, Lin, Lazypen, Vilson: Ch.6
Vali: “I think if we show some love to a different channel every now and then, it’d go over really well.”
Drak: “It’s the mass that makes the difference. If one or two people from a guild show upon a channel people won’t really bat an eye. That’s really common. But when 6 or 10 members run around and hang out more commonly, the guild will be known too and people will see them as a guild too rather than just people.”
Last topic is the inauguration of our newest staff member.
Our community continues to be a better place with more new faces appearing each day. And to with this, we must maintain a staff who is equally as qualified to maintain our community and promote a great environment.
With this said, we are proud to introduce the newest member to our staff community, who has great experience with promoting a wonderful community.
(please stand front and center)
Valiancy has been a member of Alstroemeria since February 16, 2016. Though she is fairly new to the guild, she is no stranger to fostering a wonderful community. She has been in several officer and leadership positions of guilds prior to Alstroemeria with a genuine interest in helping others.
With all the rights and privileges appertaining thereto in consideration of the morale, welfare and well-being of the Alstroemeria guild. In testimony whereof, we bestow upon you the position of Ambassador 3rd Class hereunto offered this Twenty-Seventh day of February, 2016.
As an Ambassador, Valiancy will promote member interactions, assist members with developing skills as well as promote, oversee and coordinate guild events.
Please join me in congratulating Valiancy as our newest Ambassador.
Aside from the topics covered during the meeting there are a few announcements to be made:
We will be fighting against the Asesinos guild on Wind 1st Saturday so please be prepared for a glorious battle!
Our Jobs system is being continually improved and expanded on so if you have any life skills you would like to volunteer, please submit an application at the Jobs section of the guild site. We will be holding a 2x credit promotion for the Award bonus from now until April 1st for those who apply!
Relya: “Include composing, MK to the list”
Before we are dismissed, are there any suggestions regarding the guild and its features?
(Risaoko’s wedding next Saturday)
This concludes this month’s guild meeting. Please meet in the garden upstairs for a guild photo. Thank you again for attending and we hope to build a great future together!
