It's Doki Doki time again... and love is in the air! Well, love and about a million potatoes!?!
You are a master of 20+ skills... but you have to trigger up a buff song or hope to party with a real "Hoe master" to get the most out of your tired and almost broken hoe! You are doing your best.. but 6 long scrapes only to find a fat mole just makes you feel.. well.. less than "giant potato pimpin!"
Instead of burning that hoe out.. and runnin all up on your number one Nicca for a replacement hoe... have that pimp repair it! ..and get that hoe to 100% proficient! When you got a full and proficient hoe.. take that hoe to Bangor and have Elen change out that hoes hilt! (it will add 10 durability to it) ...and your hoe will give you twice the work! ...and don't we want more work out of our hoes? For realz!
That upgraydd (double "D" for a double dose of dat PIMPIN!) only cost ya 30 proficiency points! so take that hoe to my sistah Del in Emain and she will work that hoe in even more useful ways! Have her polish that hilt three times!(16 pts per) It will knock off almost a full second of work time! (now.. your hoe will become a bit more expensive to repair.. but... throwing a couple more gold coins at a hoe for the speed working that field... is nothin to a pimp aiming for mastery, is it?)
Now that you got yourself a good hoe... and the potatoes are just fillin up your inventory... check your skill. You probably completed your potato requirement.. and maybe even worked down Giant potatoes and bonus items! (if you don't even have these... YO! why you slippin.. hit that advance button and get off F level hoe-in! Ain't no F level Hoe gonna get those potatoes like a pimp! Damn son!)
Time to hit Port Ceann and groove on over to the beach! You gotta put that hoe to work there too! Now, shellfish (from what I can figure) are basically useless... so.. just squat on down to the seaweed spots and work out 5 and move on.. don't even bother picking them up! ...and just scratch till you light up the advance button! If you are harvesting the level of potatoes I think you are, then every day you should complete the potato commitment and you can just run over and work out the shellfish and advance at least once a day!
What does all this mean... I am glad you asked little pimp! I am at rank 3 with two hoes by my side... I scratch 4 times to most peoples 6 and produce more bonus potatoes than many in heavy rain with a full buff! ...and I can shave another full second off my time with the final upgraydd! And mastery will drop the time even further! My hoes pull 200 potatoes out of the ground before needin to get some work did... ya feel me!
All I am sayin is... if you are already digging in the dirt and usein yo hoes why not make them into somethin special.. and triple your production in a few short weeks with only a small added work step... in the end you spent a few AP... (58 total from "N") Gained 21 Wil... and added experience to your cooking talent! ...and what pimp doesn't like that!
follow these steps.. and you too, will soon be proppin up that title... "Master of Hoeing" (and then probably never pull a potato again until the next Doki reboot 3 years from now! HA!)
