I used to do art. I was an Art Major, but the biased nature of my professors quickly made me leave. One of the requirements was taking Abstract courses, and that just ain't my cup of tea. When I would pour my soul into a piece for one of those courses, I'd fail. Every time I bs'ed my way through a project, it passed. That wasn't something I could deal with, so since then I've more or less stopped drawing and painting.
All of these are old, probably from my senior year of highschool. It's been so long that I've done anything I'm satisfied with that I don't have any recent ones on my laptop ; ;
Whenever I draw, I always do it by hand the old-school way. Sometimes I'll color digitally, but I allow for the roughness of the pencil strokes to show through. I only do anime or chibi once in a blue moon, and when I do it's still seeping with my own flair. It gets boring to see the same style used by so many people imo, and I'd be betraying myself to abandon my personal style for any work.
